TheEnvironmental Engineer, acting as an expert in environmental issues and standards, must then master many other aspects. These include laws and regulations, project development techniques, environmental concepts and much more.

What does an Environmental Engineer do?

As anEnvironmental Engineer , your main mission will be to ensure that the environment and its key elements are respected in the implementation of all kinds of projects.

In order to achieve this objective, you will be required to carry out the following tasks:

  • carry out feasibility studies for the various projects, taking into account the environment of their location as the main factor;
  • drafting or coordinating the drafting of environmental documents required to carry out activities;
  • assess the environmental and social risks and impacts of a project ;
  • ensure consideration and compliance with environmental standards;
  • environmental and social monitoring of projects;
  • coordinate and monitor CSR activities;
  • prevent ecological disasters;
  • propose effective solutions to identified environmental problems.

How do I become an Environmental Engineer?

Among other things, we offer a 2-year MSc Sustainable Energy Futures program after your baccalauréat + 3 years. Conducted in English, the course leads to a diploma at bac + 5 level.
